    KEY BENEFITS

When Highest ARC Protection is required and Physical Burden is demanding.

    GOR_TOF_IC_Arc_rated

Tested and proven arc protection cat 4: ATPV ≥ 40 cal/cm² according to ASTM F1959

20% lighter than alternative aramid blends. The lightest weight 40 cal arc protection below 10 oz.

Very breathable (referring to RET value rating, Hohenstein Institute methodology)

When combined with ergonomic garment design, achieve up to 39% increased freedom of movement to greater assist the electrical workers daily tasks

THE LIGHTEST WEIGHT 40 CAL SUIT BELOW 10 OZ

When exposed to high incident energy and performing tasks that encompass a risk of arc incidents of up to 40 cal/cm2, electrical consultants, contractors and E&I technicians in fixed sites need highly reliable protective clothing. As their work is often also very physically demanding, they also need freedom of movement. With the new arc rated PYRAD® suit by GORE-TEX LABS they no longer have to compromise: proven cat 4 arc protection in a measurably thin and lightweight fabric (versus multiplied aramids required to achieve equivalent protection).

Lightest-in-class: PYRAD® fabrics by GORE-TEX LABS are engineered to provide some of the lightest weight products in their class of protection
    How It Works

Lightest-in-class: PYRAD® fabrics by GORE-TEX LABS are engineered to provide some of the lightest weight products in their class of protection. Upon arc exposure, the fabric reduces convective heat flow and stops flames or damage from an arc flash by forming a carbonaceous char with the fabric. Heat transfer is reduced, the physical integrity of the fabric is maintained effectively for reduced heat transfer to the skin.

    Ideal for
The technology has been developed with real-work situations in mind, so that hard-working professionals in challenging environments can stay protected, and simply focus on their important work.
