• Before washing your outerwear, remove any detachable metal parts (e.g. spring hooks) and inscriptions from the back, and empty your pockets. 
• Close and cover all Velcro® fasteners to prevent damage to the fabric.
• Keep your outerwear right-side out, and wash separately to prevent contamination from spreading and to avoid deposits of foreign matter (e.g. cotton fluff or lint) on the outer fabric.
• Follow the manufacturer’s care and washing instruction for waster temperature and load capacity of the washing machine (typically less than two-thirds full).
• Select the machine’s deep water easy-care program with pre-wash. For commercial washing machines, use special program and the specified detergents. Use commercially available detergent for color fabrics.
• Do not use detergents with a very high or very low pH value.

• Before putting the garment in the tumble dryer, turn it inside out (insulating lining outwards) to protect the fabric. Tumble drying is recommended to protect the garment’s water-repellent treatment.

• Iron on a medium temperature setting without steam. Cover reflective strips with a cloth before ironing to protect them.

• Be sure to check the manufacturer’s care instructions to ensure that the garment may be dry cleaned.
• If the garment is badly soiled with non-water-soluble contaminants such as oils, grease, or bitumen, you should dry clean rather than wash it.
• Select a specialized dry cleaner that uses perchloroethylene (PER) or hydrocarbon cleaning methods.
• Do not use detergents or additives with a very high pH value or a very low pH value; avoid dry-cleaning soap.
• Before cleaning, close or cover all Velcro® fasteners to prevent damage to the fabric.
• Ensure that the cleaner does not pin any labels to the garment because the pins will damage the fabric.
• Before wearing the garment again, check that it is completely free of any solvent.

• To prevent colour fading, protective clothing should not be stored in direct sunlight or where there are other sources of UV light.
• Do not store protective clothing when it is wet.
• It is the wearer’s responsibility to ensure that the layers of protective clothing are intact and fully functional at all times during the product lifecycle.
• Faulty garments should be disposed after being cleaned. For further information, please contact your clothing supplier.

• Clean the exterior with a cloth or brush and lukewarm water (saddle soap for leather)
•  The manufacturer may recommend leather treatment or preservation.
• Shake out sand, gravel, and dirt from inside the footwear. Remove and shake out the footbed if applicable.

Dry naturally at moderate temperatures. Avoid direct heat. Convection-style boot driers work well.

Follow the manufacturer's instructions.

• Textile Gloves: Follow the manufacturer's instructions. Machine- or hand-wash warm. Squeeze water from fingertips to wrist. Do not twist.
• Leather Gloves and Combined Leather/Textile Gloves: Follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
• Do not use bleach.

• Drip-dry with the fingers facing upwards.
• Do not puncture the glove insert because this will compromise the protective barrier.

• Check the manufacturer’s instructions before dry cleaning a pair of gloves.

• To remove stains, use a pre-wash treatment, following the manufacturer’s instructions. Rinse the gloves thoroughly.
