Emergency Services Show 2021

    TOUR GORE-TEX LABS

Daily at 11 am and 3 pm on Gore stand B57 Hall 5.

    September 7-8, NEC - Birmingham

TOUR GORE-TEX TEST LABS FROM THE EMERGENCY SERVICES SHOW

Anyone with and interest in protective clothing for the emergency services will have a unique opportunity to take a digital tour through the GORE-TEX test laboratories from the company’s stand (B57 Hall 5) at this year’s Emergency Services Show.

Gore will run virtual tours of the lab at 11am and 3pm on each day of the show, giving visitors and immersive experience that gives access to the rigorous test procedures that GORE-TEX fabrics go through to endure their lifetime performance.

Attendees can participate in a virtual guided tour of Gore’s test facilities in Germany, allowing them to move through the laboratories and stop at any point for a detailed explanation of tests going on around them.

Suzanne Prince, UK Fire Associate at W. L. Gore & Associates, said:

This is the first time we’ve brought this innovative technology to a trade show. Normally, we would bring customers to our labs in Germany and the USA to let them see over 100 test methods that take place in 20 different laboratories but that has been impossible during the pandemic. So now we’re bringing the facility to the NEC using virtual technology and taking visitors straight into our test labs in from our stand to see test methods up close.

The virtual tours of the GORE-TEX test labs will take place daily at 11am and 3pm on stand B57 Hall 5.
