GORE-TEX PYRAD® Riot Suits

Durable and reliable protection from sudden heat, flash fire and chemical penetration.

    KEY BENEFITS

Explore the high-level protective benefits of this technology application.

GORE-TEX PYRAD® riot suits protect the wearer as this revolutionary fabric technology is engineered to form a stable char when exposed to heat and flame. Material remains intact and does not break open after flame contact.

Prevents penetration of liquid chemicals according EN ISO 6530. The membrane properties remain even after contamination.

The light and more flexible polyamide based laminate absorbs less water and dries out faster.

GORE-TEX PYRAD® Riot Suits offer durable protection from inclement weather during violent riots.

The fabric is designed to allow sweat vapor to be released: ideal for outdoor use, even during high-exertion work.

Whether wearers face flurries or severe storms, wind can’t pass through the membrane, leaving hands warm and comfortable.

    INNoVATIVE, FLAME RETARDANT PROTECTION

    LIGHTWEIGHT, FLEXIBLE, MORE COMFORTABLE

Riot Police face many different threats regularly from violent riots and other escalating attacks. These create multiple hazards, including pyrotechnics, burning objects, Molotov cocktails and other highly flammable liquids and chemicals.

The new GORE-TEX PYRAD® riot garments provide durable and reliable protection from sudden heat, flash fire, chemical penetration, as well as inclement weather, during these real-life scenarios.

And they do this with a new light, more flexible polyamide based laminate that also absorbs less water. This enhances wearer comfort significantly.

GORE-TEX PYRAD® laminates are more robust with higher abrasion resistance and almost no pilling to better withstand the rigors of duty.

GORE-TEX PYRAD® laminates are available as 2- or 3 layer versions for corresponding garment constructions.
