How it Works
Durable, Self-Extinguishing Protection

When exposed to flash fire or flame, the fabric forms a stable char, self-extinguishing to protect the wearer. It maintains integrity even when flexed, resisting flaking, disintegration, and shrinkage. The camouflage pattern remains durable and effective, even after heavy use and repeated washing.

Fitness for Use Testing

In a test conducted by experienced pyrotechnicians, a stuntman wearing a PYRAD® by GORE-TEX LABS protective suit was exposed to a realistic fire source.

The result: after contact with the flame, no traces of melting or dripping could be seen on the suit. Thanks to the PYRAD® fabric technology by GORE-TEX LABS, a self-extinguishing charring layer forms when exposed to flames.
